Experiencia de clase

Building confidence in the basics of speaking a foreign language is extremely important, and that is what I will be doing through this class.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Let's Start Speaking Italian is a series of classes that include learning the basics to start speaking some Italian by focusing on grammar. This specific class includes a focus on some irregular verb forms in the present tense and how to say "the" and "a/an."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Week 1: Students will learning some irregular -ere present tense verbs (such as bere, dovere, and volere) and what's the difference between volere bene and amare (2 ways of saying I love you but meaning very different things)
Week 2: Students will learning some irregular -ere and -ire present tense verbs (such as potere, dire, uscire, venire, and riuscire)
Week 3: Students will learn some irregular -are present tense verbs (such as andare, fare, dare, and stare)
Week 4: Students will learn the 7 ways to say "the" and the 4 ways to say "a/ an"

*Each time, we will review the information from the last lesson.
*Students will at times be given a PDF, worksheets, etc. (Homework is optional)

*Schedule is subject to change.

This course is part of a series, preparing students to start speaking more in Italian.
------------------------------------------
(If you have younger students, I have other Italian classes for them too!).

*Also you can request a new time if you need a different time slot.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
This class is mainly for ages 11-16: however, I do sometimes make accommodations for other ages. Message me if this is something you are interested in.

In high school, I was only offered Spanish. I believe that taking foreign language classes opens the doors to many opportunities. My love for languages has continued to grow and at university, I took Italian up through Intermediate level. I now give students the opportunity to learn a language that they are interested in and make learning fun. I have even been known to take facts and put them into a tune to help memorize them easier!
