In this one time 30 minute class, students will learn the fundamentals and techniques to execute a cartwheel on the balance beam with USA Olymian Ms. Hope. I will begin each class with an introduction, followed by light stretching, then a short evaluation of each student and finally we will work on cartwheels on the balance beam. 
Students must be able to perform a cartwheel with good technique as well as a balance beam prior to enrolling in this class. The balance beam may be a floor, slightly raised or higher. It is recommended that the students have adequate matting or padding around their balance beam. 
As with any sport or activity, there is risk of injury. I will be making the necessary adjustments during class to make sure each student is practicing safely according to their skill level.
This class is a great resource for PreTeam and lower level competitive gymnasts. I look forward to helping your child improve their gymnastics skills.
