Aprenderemos a leer y cantar la letra de Jingle Bells en partitura. Será muy divertido aprender a aplaudir, tocar un tambor y movernos al ritmo de la canción mientras exploramos la percusión y hacemos una gran actuación final juntos.

This one-time course will encompass one fun song that the student may be familiar with. We will introduce ourselves and talk about our favorite Christmas songs. Students will get the chance to identify any symbols or icons in the song and look at pictures of those symbols. We will read through the song lyrics We will discuss the rhythm, and clap out the 'beat.' The student will sing together with the other students. The class will be very fun, upbeat and the students will have the chance to sing and laugh with the teacher and each other. These classes are meant to encourage budding performers to lose jitters and grow in their performance/presentation skills.
Metas de aprendizaje
Students will learn how to learn to identify the symbolism in the lyrics while listening to music, as well as how to move and feel the rhythm by clapping, drumming or shaking a percussion instrument. They will also look at a sheet music coloring page to create curiosity which encourages pre-music reading skills. The student will also learn how to feel comfortable and confident performing along with a group.
