Do you love Science? In this Ongoing Class, learners will explore a range of Science subjects in a fun and interactive way. This course aims to provide meaningful learning experiences for young explorers.

Each class will include a range of teaching methods and activities that are designed to engage the learners in both a hands-on and minds-on way. Classes will include experiments, Q&A, quizzes, games, worksheets, videos and much more. Some classes will include breakout rooms.  Learners will be encouraged to observe, explore, question and share what they learn. A variety of methods are used to support learners and cater for different learning styles and needs.

Week of 15/4/24 - What is Astronomy? - night sky, prominent stars and constellations
Week of 22/4/24 - Solar System - Sun, planets, moons, asteroids, and comets
Week of 29/4/24 - Solar System - formation and evolution of the solar system
Week of 6/5/24 - Solar System - Hands-on activity: building a scale model of the solar system
Week of 13/5/24 - Earth and Moon - Earth's structure, atmosphere, and natural phenomena
Week of 20/5/24 - Earth and Moon - Moon's phases, surface features, and lunar exploration
Week of 27/5/24 - Earth and Moon - Moon's phases and tracking lunar cycles
Week of 3/6/24 - Stars and Stellar Evolution - stars, their classification, and life cycles
Week of 10/6/24 - Stars and Stellar Evolution - star formation, nuclear fusion, and stellar remnants
Week of 17/6/24 - Stars and Stellar Evolution - stars and identifying different types using star charts or apps
Week of 24/6/24 - Galaxies and Cosmology - galaxies, their types, and distribution in the universe
