En esta clase única, celebraremos el otoño aprendiendo a dibujar una criatura del bosque al azar, como un zorro, un mapache, un oso, un lobo o un ciervo. Dibujaremos en estilo kawaii o de dibujos animados.

I will briefly introduce students the differences between cartoon/kawaii style art and realistic art. After this introduction we will have a discussion and share what our favorite fall woodland animal is and why. The animal of this class will be random. The choice will be selected from a wheel of choices. If your child chooses to take the class again we can ensure that they don't have the same animal in the next class. As we draw together I will share interesting facts and warm students up to discussing and sharing what they know about the animal too. After we walk through the steps to draw our animal we will learn different techniques to color our artwork. If there is left over time we will work on creating a fall scene in the background. As a BONUS students will receive a step by step guide to draw a surprise fall animal to do after class.

Students will need a piece of paper will a good pencil and an eraser. Students will need color tools as well, preferably a black marker, and brown/grey/black/orange colored pencils or crayons.

In my free time, I freelance as a photographer, a graphic designer, and shoe designer. Yes, I designed and sold custom patterned shoes!
