In this fun and creative art class we will learn how to draw Gudetama in an easy way step by step. Have you seen Gudetama before? It is a funny lazy cartoon character egg from the Anime and Manga Japanese company Sanrio. These are the makers of characters such as Hello Kitty and My Melody. Gudetama has a hilarious personality and in this class we will bring him to life on the page. So let's go an eggcellent adventure together - chatting and drawing all things Gudetama. He is a super Kawaii (cute) egg and we will draw him in 3 different scenarios! These will be - Gudetama bathing in a bowl of ramen, trying to get out of his shell and taking a nap. We might even have time for some bonus drawings at the end! Student's will also be taught how to successfully ink their drawings and colour in effectively. 

I like to use slides to demonstrate how to draw and give a brief background about where Gudetama come's from and what it's characteristics are. My teaching style is very enthusiastic and I like to encourage my students by praising what they are doing well and sensitively pointing out where they could improve. The best way to learn is through doing and so my lesson will be very interactive and engaging. The students will need some plain paper and coloured pens or pencils, including the colour black. They are also welcome to use paints also if they would like to colour in with those. No required experience or knowledge is needed for this class. Just a joy and curious attitude about art, Gudetama and how to draw!
