Course Structure: Our Master Builders Workshop is structured as hour-long class meetings held once a week for six weeks. Each session is packed with engaging activities and hands-on projects that reinforce the week's theme and learning objectives. Here's a glimpse of what your child will experience each week: Week 1: Introduction to Engineering Principles Explore basic engineering concepts Start brainstorming and start building your LEGO Bridge Week 2: Building Foundations Dive into complex builds and designs Use your skills you are learning about to add to your LEGO bridge project Week 3: Team Collaboration Enhance communication and teamwork skills Share your ideas for your next projects with your pairs and start building Week 4: Innovation and Creativity Embrace self-expression through LEGO construction Explore innovative design solutions Cultivate creativity through hands-on experimentation Week 5: Exploring Physics Concepts Gain an introduction to basic physics principles Apply physics concepts to LEGO builds Investigate the science behind catapults Week 6: Culminating Projects Showcase individual and group projects Celebrate achievements and creativity Teaching Style: As the instructor, I facilitate a supportive and interactive learning environment where students are encouraged to explore, experiment, and collaborate.
