Join us in September for the launch of the latest Legend of Zelda title! 

In this interactive course, young gamers will learn how to play Echoes of Wisdom with teacher Laura! We will play together in class (I share my screen so they can watch as I play, and students will need their own device to play also. Please see supply list). We will be discussing the absolute basics that learners need to know, tips and tricks to up our game, and gameplay will by no means be exhaustive. There will be many things you can find and learn outside of class time. At the beginning or end of class learners can share something new they learned or found in the game.

🎮 IMPORTANT: This class CAN be spoiler-y. While I do not mind spoilers, I know that some learners do not like having the game spoiled. Please let the group know when you join whether or not you mind spoilers, and we will try to not spoil anything for you. 🫶🏻 

Some of the things they will learn as we play:
- dynamics of Echoes of Wisdom in Nintendo Switch
- characters you will meet in your adventure
- basic items (think sword, shield, etcetera)
- basic enemy information
- the backstory to the game

It is NOT necessary for learners to have already played the game or have played other Zelda games as the games can stand alone. Please be advised that some learners may already know about other Zelda games and we may discuss them in class in comparison to this game, but it is not necessary to know everything about the world of Legend of Zelda. 

Learners ARE expected to spend some time between classes in gameplay so that when they come back to class, they can discuss the game and where they need help. If learners are interested, we'll take turns offering weekly challenges to help give them goals between classes. That being said, learners can jump into this class at any time and the challenges are not a requirement. Progress made is LEARNER DIRECTED.

My no-show policy: if no learners are in the classroom after 10 minutes, the Zoom session will be ended (this is Outschool's general policy for no-shows).

Chat and Play class policy: Even if there is only one learner, I still give class! If your learner does not like being the only one in class and other learners have not yet enrolled, please let me know and we'll work something out.

🗓️ Dates there will be NO classes scheduled. You will NOT be charged for weeks that do not have classes scheduled, so it is NOT necessary to un-enroll that weeks. In 2024, I will NOT be scheduling any classes for the following weeks: 
* December 22nd and 29th due to Christmas. 🎄 Classes will resume the week of January 5th.
