We will begin class with hellos and get to know you questions to make each learner feel comfortable! We will learn the basics of American Sign Language in this 4 week course. It is highly suggested that you complete part 1 of this course before taking part 2. Each week, we will learn a different set of signs and master them. We will learn a different set of basics each week.

Our schedule will go as follows: 

Week 1: Animals
Week 2: Months of the year, My birthday is in... It is.. 
Week 3: Days of the week, It is... Tomorrow is..., Yesterday was... 
Week 4: Review 

Each week, each learner will have ample time to learn and practice the signs. The last week of the class will be a review of all of the signs we learned in this course and in the first course for ages 5 to 8. During the last class, we will practice using all of the signs we have learned in both courses. By the end of the course, each learner will be able to sign their alphabet, colors, numbers, days of the week,  months of the year, animals, and simple sentences and phrases.
