This class is devoted to learning about lions, their behaviors, scientific name, and more... through discussion, a craft, a game, and a short video. Children will learn some facts about the King of the Jungle, have some laughs, and be able to express themselves artistically! Class will begin with introductions and we will then move on to some discussion, including the lion's scientific name. I will share some visual aids to help connect learners and then, we will enjoy a story or game, and a lion craft! I will also be supplying a coloring page for kids to have fun with after the class! As this class is about lions, if children have a stuffed lion or a toy lion, they can bring them to class!

During class we will learn and see, how lions prey on other animals. This can be sad to some but it is a very brief moment for the class and during the learning that female lions are the ones that do most of the hunting.

For class we will be doing a craft that involves a paper plate, scissor, and crayons or markers. I will also be supplying a coloring page for kids to have fun with after the class! As this class is about lions, if children have a stuffed lion or a toy lion, they can bring them to class!

I have taught this class to different groups at a cooperative, for both lower and upper elementary students. I enjoy teaching a subject or principle and including different areas of study along with the original idea. I have trained in a non credited format, for many years, with an author and speaker who specializes in teaching children character.
I am a homeschool mom that has taught American History, Biology, and Life Skills for 3 years in a cooperative setting.
