Experiencia de clase

In this one-time class students will learn how to draw quick anime cats and kittens in various poses all step-by-step. 

We will first start by drawing a few cat faces with stylized noses, whiskers and ears. We will then concentrate on making the eyes stand out using lighting and shading techniques. Once our faces are complete we will move on to making the bodies truly unique and adding elements around out drawings.

If time allows we will then draw another set of three kittens in a tea cup all huddled together.

Once complete students will color or paint their work and are encouraged to share with the class. We will learn basic shading and painting techniques as we finish up our cute anime cats and kittens!

No experience is necessary.

Hello Animal Lovers and Artists! 

I am a published author of five books including non-fiction, fiction and two children's books.

I am also an animal lover who has cared for and rehabilitated animals all of my life. Currently, I have over 6 animals residing on my property, and before you accuse me of being a cat hoarder - I only have two kittens!

I am Wild Animal Health Care Certified, a Wildlife Conservationist, and also Marine and Eco Tourism Certified. I told you I love animals!

I approach teaching as a creative endeavour and I instill creativity in all of my classes. The more we can expand on being creative, the easier it is to approach different learning opportunities, career choices and even life choices.
