Experiencia y certificaciones del docente

Licenciatura en Artes y ciencias liberales desde Drexel University
Grado asociado en Artes y ciencias liberales desde Community College of Philadelphia
I have been learning American Sign Language for many years through college classes, an online university by a well-known deaf educator, Dr. Bill Vicars, and attending ASL events and meetups. For the past three years I have been teaching beginning ASL to kids ages 6-12 years old. From tutoring my own siblings and combining instruction with ASL, I have seen how effective such a teaching method can be, in not only introducing kids to a new language, but also building hand strength and coordination skills at an early age. I have tutored math for kids from PreK to 9th grade and worked at an afterschool program creating various subject curriculums and tutoring for grades K-6.
