We will use the program 'scratch' to create an LOL surprise dress me up game with sounds. No experience of scratch necessary. The lesson is taught step-by-step (I will demonstrate each step to the class before they work on it) and we progress together.

Students will be taught:
How to create a scratch project
How to add and edit sprites
How to use the coding blocks to code our game
How to add music

It will be a very interactive session- I will work with you to build your game and we will share our screens with others too. 

You should have scratch installed ready to use for class. I suggest that you install it and open it prior to class to ensure there are no problems. You should have a device to log into the outschool class and another to use for Scratch. Screen sharing will be necessary to ensure students are all accessing the instructions well and progressing together.

My background includes 14 years of classroom experience, and my training is focussed on Design and Technology, but expands to roles in Special Education. I taught in UK classrooms until 2020, and now I exclusively teach on Outschool, where I'm excited to continue nurturing young minds.
