Experiencia de clase
In today's class, we will review what you've learned in Pre-Latin and Latin 1: Classes 1 and 2. We will talk about, and then practice, how the Latin cases and conjugations correlate to the English parts of speech. This will help you identify them when you see a Latin sentence, and then use each word, like a puzzle piece, to understand the sentence you are reading. We will also go back over our vocabulary words, and fill in the noun and verb charts. I will also show you how I set up my own...
- Students will leave this class with more confidence in 1st conjugation verb forms, 1st declension nouns and adjectives, and a better understanding of how to construct/deconstruct Latin sentences. They will realize they recognize many of the words from the previous lessons and can sight read a few Latin sentences.
I have a BA and MA in foreign language (Latin and German) and history. I have taught and/or tutored in these areas from middle school level to university level. I have also traveled and studied in Italy in order to research and translate during my undergraduate studies.

Any content I use in the slides is either mine, licensed, or public domain. Latin Wiktionary is a free online dictionary that students may use in order to see definitions, conjugations, tenses, declensions, gender, person, part of speech, and other information (word origin, synonym, antonym).
I create the class content, but draw from previous Latin studies and texts, such as Wheelock 7th edition, Cambridge 1, Oxford Latin Dictionary, Minimus 1, and Getting Started with Latin.
