This class will be a fast-paced, fun drill and repeat process limited to five students so there is plenty of student and teacher interaction and plenty of opportunities for students to answer questions. Primarily sentences and paragraphs will be displayed with multiple editing and revising errors, along with chances to identify words with more precise descriptive vocabulary, identifying subject and predicate, homonyms and homophones, punctuation and grammar and the students will be locating...
- Students will improve their understanding of editing and revision, location of grammar errors, ways to add clarity to written work, punctuation, so that learners will be able to have new strategies for editing and revising and increase their ability to find their own errors.
A packet of materials for the four-day class will be sent prior to the beginning of class. All work will be done in that packet with the teacher so the student should print it and bring it to class but not work on it ahead of time. That is the only material needed.
