Consistent early childhood education plays an important role in the lives of children. It provides children with consistent routines and unlimited learning opportunities, and provides families with the security of knowing their child is in a safe and nurturing environment. *** Try your first week of class discounted, $10 off: SCHOO10OFFCKINDERGARTEN10 In Kindergarten Together - Ongoing, students will have a consistent teacher and schedule as they learn a variety of subjects that constitute a well balanced Kindergarten experience, while still having the flexibility of an ongoing class. The social aspect of Kindergarten is crucially important as students learn to take turns, listen to each other and work together as a group. There will be opportunities for students to grow their social skills in every class. However there will be intentional social days scheduled every once and a while for students to have more focused and intentional social interaction through "get to know you games", show and tells, sing along and story times. Students will get pdf worksheets for each week's lessons the Friday before in order for the students to interact with the lessons being taught. Students will be able to show and share the results of their work (if they feel comfortable) and be praised and encouraged for their accomplishments. As with all of my classes, this will be a fun, interactive and lively class. Shy students will not be forced to verbally respond or interact but active participation will be encouraged. The weekly schedule of class topics will be posted on the class page every Friday for the following week with the worksheets for that week to help inform your decision of whether to continue your subscription for the week. One of the classes will be a science experiment day. Some of the experiment will be students watching and listening as I do the experiments for them. However, students will be given the option to participate in the some experiment. Parental supervision and assistance will be required for students to participate in this baking soda and vinegar experiment. We at Silly School With Teacher Greg believe that learning should be fun. Children’s natural creativity and curiosity should be exercised and encouraged. Education should be energy giving not energy draining. Every student is unique, and we are dedicated to adapting to the student's learning style, never the other way around. We believe that every learner has something to share so that we all can grow together. Whether its math, science, language, history or social time, we bring our subjects to life and create fantastic and engaging experiences for students!
