Durante este curso aprenderemos una nueva palabra reconocible a simple vista cada semana. Durante la clase, los estudiantes tendrán hojas de trabajo en las que podrán trabajar o consultar. Hablaremos sobre cada palabra y cómo suena y cómo se deletrearía.

In this on- going class we will go over one sight word a week. With this class we will work on one to two word (s) a week. During the class we will work on how to sound out the word, we will color the word with special colors to get a better understanding of each letter. We will work also on how to write each word. We will go over each of these things with each new word we learn. I will also try to have a picture to go with each word that we will be working on.
Week 1 Sept. 5th- 9th: We will work on the words "I & a"
Week 2 Sept. 12th - 16th: We will work on the word " AT "
Week 3 Sept. 19th - 23rd: We will work on the word "SEE"
Week 4 Sept 26th - 30th: We will work on the word "MY" 
Every week after that will be a new word. There will be some worksheets that you can keep and practice on.  Students do not need any previous knowledge of sight words to take this class.

Hello my name is Mrs. Shannon, I have been working with children for almost 6 years. I absolutely love working with ages 3 to 7. My classes will be mostly about math and letters for this age group. I will do my best to make sure that every student enjoys class and I have a policy I will teach no matter the amount of students I have. A fun fact about me is, I am single mom of 2 girls, I also run a daycare an I'm also in college as well as all the activities my children do.
