This fun Minecraft Math Mania camp will use Minecraft building blocks and characters as counters. We will learn math concepts using a fun Minecraft theme! 

Day 1: Counting, counting, counting! We will count to 100 by ones together using ten frames. Counters will be Minecraft building blocks and objects! We will also practice counting objects in ten frames and in groups. Exercises are meant to be fun and varied to keep learners attention. 

Day 2: During our second meeting, we will work on addition within 10. We will use Minecraft blocks and objects as counters to practice adding within 10. We will also use ten frames to visualize our numbers. Learners will complete a variety of fun activities designed to practice addition. 

Day 3: During our third and final meeting, we will practice subtracting within 10. We will practice subtracting Minecraft blocks and objects within 10. We will use a number of different strategies for visualizing subtraction.
