Calling all kindergarteners! Come join Mrs. Dahl for this fun, engaging and interactive class. Kindergarten Club will meet one time per week for 30 minutes. Each week will have a different skills focus. The first week of the month will focus on literacy skills (sight word, word family, beginning sounds, rhyming words). Crayons, Markers, scissors, glue, pencil, blank paper or whiteboard (for practicing writing letters/numbers).

Most supplies will basic craft/school supplies you will have around the house (pencils, markers, crayons, scissors, play-doh, glue, stickers, etc).

Important Information:
My goal is that all students will be unmuted, however, I will mute students when needed to minimize background noise. The microphone can pick up sound easily. Please make sure your learner either knows how to mute/unmute, or that you sit with them during class so they are able to speak when it's their turn. I am only able to "ask to unmute". The student will have to click the button to actually unmute themselves.

I include bonus activities for each week, so that the learners can continue to practice skills learned during class. These activities are optional but beneficial for the student.

I am a Washington State certified teacher. I have been a kindergarten and special education preschool teacher. Early childhood education is my passion! From stories, to sensory tables, to art projects, songs, snacks, paint and glitter. I love teaching early elementary students and the creativity it brings. This fall I am beginning a Master's in Literacy program at a University. I am excited to apply what I learn into my classes.
