Students will learn and gain academic skills in the areas of reading, writing and math that will align with and exceed common Kindergarten standards. 

Mrs. Lewshawnda Haywood- I have more than 20 years of experience teaching young learners as well as creating PreK programs for schools. I ran a 4 year old PreK program for a charter school in which students were reading at a 1st grade level by the end of the year. I also founded a private school of my own which included 3 and 4 year old Pre-K students who ended their year not only prepared for Kindergarten but also as confident beginning readers as well.

I have completed post secondary credits in Arabic, Spanish and Mandarin Chinese at North Central University and The University of Minnesota. I have been teaching each of these languages at the beginning level for more than 10 years to students in PreK through 8th grade.

Detalles: Learner progress will be assessed daily during each lesson as the teacher sees and hears that the student has become independent in reciting the information learned during lessons and routines. Students will be able to ask and answer questions on their own. Students will have individual turns to demonstrate progress and understanding. Parents can also assess their own child's progress as they become more independent during their participation in class as well as how they are using learned information outside of class.
