Each week students will explore a math tool that will help them understand the basics. Each class will be learner driven meaning students exploration of a topic will drive the instruction. 
This class will focus on adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing all numbers (whole, decimals, fractions, integers) with emphasis on building mental math skills, and learning how to use math tools such as base 10 blocks and number lines to assist them when they get stuck. 

Every class will be hands on through the use of digital manipulatives or printable ones (your preference). 

This course is not grade level specific and students only need to be able to count and have a base understanding of our number system to enroll. If your student struggles in math this class aims to fill in gaps with the basics. 
Please note all games are non competitive.
