You have progressed a long way if you are signing up for part 4, Keep it up. As with all my Japanese classes, I teach in a way that enables you to learn Japanese naturally and effectively. I will not only teach the language, but I will teach you a little about the culture as well. In this class, you are faced with real-life situations in which you will have to use Japanese to effectively communicate with others. I want the students to feel comfortable and confident as they speak the language. After this lesson students will be able to 1. Ask whose object is this (whose pencil or whose bag is this?) 2. Say something is here, there, over there, and ask where -be able to ask where someone is from 3. How to describe two things as being similar (I am American. He is also American.) You will definitely enjoy this class. We will play games, have PowerPoint slides, group discussions, and real-life situations to solidify what to say in certain situations. I want you to feel comfortable and engaged while learning. There is a prerequisite for this class. You will need to have taken parts 1, 2, and 3 before you take part 4, or know the material in parts 1, 2, and 3. There is a co-requisite. You will also need to take a Katakana and Hiragana classes, which can be taken simultaneously with this class or before this class. Please bring an open mind and be ready to learn.
