The best camera is the one you have with you; we all have our cell phones with us. Cell phone cameras, even on basic and older models, have become as advanced as DSLR cameras. There are so many features and functions that can help you take amazing, creative and fantastic photos. The class will be taught live to demonstrate the features on most camera phones, how to frame and take quality photos and examples of great phone photos. You will then be given some photo-taking practice shots to try on your own. You will upload your photos to our class page so we can view them. I will also leave feedback on your photos so you can learn what worked and what didn’t in your shots. We can also engage in discussion about each other’s photos. 
My teaching style is fun, engaging and creative. I love photography, cameras and phones and enjoy teaching about them. I have had a successful photography business, including using phones as cameras, for five years. I have also taught cell phone photography as an elective in a middle school. The only knowledge you need to start this class is how to open the camera app on your phone.
