Music Moves for Piano, by Marilyn Lowe, Book B (All of this was previously purchased for the Part 1/2 class!)
A keyboard and a small area to move around in are required for this ongoing class. The keyboard should have about 5 octaves, or 60 keys, and have touch sensitive or weighted keys. Students should also have an adjustable bench so they can sit at the correct height at the keyboard.
Los estudiantes no necesitarán utilizar ninguna aplicación o sitio web más allá de las herramientas estándar de Outschool.
Young learners may need some guidance and help finding the keys and operating Zoom settings such as mute/unmute.
Students should have Zoom configured so that they can "Use Original Sound"--otherwise your learner's playing will be filtered out as background noise by Zoom!
Every class, we will begin with light stretching and movement to warm-up our bodies to play piano and our minds to play music! This includes stepping, clapping, a little jumping, and sometimes walking in place.
Please help your learner remember to practice--see me for support if this becomes difficult or your learner needs more guidance.
