Ever wonder how our emotions work? Why do we sometimes have difficulty managing our feelings when we are angry? In this class, students will learn how our brains communicate with our body to express how we are feeling and why it is sometimes difficult to control those emotions. Students will get to create an emotional intensity chart focusing on the emotion "anger"; we will discuss how to recognize the intensity of this emotion while exploring different coping strategies such as deep breathing and mindfulness to assist us in deescalating those intense emotions when they become too intense.
