Welcome to Miss Lauren's Beginning Piano Class! In this session your child will learn... Keyboard Geography The Musical Alphabet Finger Numbers Basic Rhythm Skills Your child will experience an engaging introduction to the piano-- the foundation to learning other musical instruments. Through hands-on activities such as clapping and tapping, clear and thorough explanations and demonstrations, students will have to opportunity to become familiar and confident in navigating their way around the keyboard. No prior music knowledge is needed!

Students will be introduced to the basics of the piano and become familiar with the the names of the piano keys, finger numbers, and differentiating between high and low sounds!

I'm Miss Lauren, and I'm so excited to share my passion for piano with the next generation! My love of piano began when I was 6 and led me to earn a bachelors and masters degree in piano performance. Now piano is my full time profession as well as my lifetime hobby!
