Experiencia de clase

Nivel de inglés - B1
Grado de EE. UU. 4 - 7
In this session, students will get a fun, interactive introduction to comparatives and superlatives—two important grammar topics for B1 learners. Through engaging activities and team-based challenges, students will practice using these forms in real-world scenarios. The class offers a sneak peek into the Grammar Games learning approach, where creativity, teamwork, and a bit of healthy competition make mastering grammar enjoyable and effective.

What Will Be Taught?

In this class, students will learn how to properly use comparative (e.g., bigger, more interesting) and superlative (e.g., biggest, most interesting) adjectives. They'll explore:

- The rules for forming comparatives (adding -er for short adjectives and more for long adjectives).
- How to form superlatives (using -est for short adjectives and most for long adjectives).
- How to apply these forms to real-life examples, making comparisons between things, animals, and even superpowers!

What Topics Will You Cover?

- Comparatives: Comparing two things, such as size, speed, or color.
- Superlatives: Ranking three or more things, like the best, most exciting, or strongest.
- Practical Application: Applying these grammar concepts to fun, relatable examples (e.g., comparing superheroes, pizza toppings, etc.).

How Is Your Class Structured?

This class will be fast-paced, energetic, and focused on interactive learning. Students will have opportunities to engage in a warm-up discussion before participating in a mini-lesson, after which students will engage in two group games/activities (one on comparatives and the other on superlatives). The session will conclude with a brief wrap-up discussion.

How Will You Teach?

My teaching style is dynamic, engaging, and collaborative. In this session, students will actively participate in:

- Games: Making grammar fun through interactive activities that focus on applying what they've learned in real-world scenarios.
- Discussion: Group sharing allows students to practice speaking and get feedback from peers.
- Competition: Friendly team-based challenges ensure that students are engaged and motivated to learn.

What's Your Teaching Style?

I focus on creating a positive, supportive environment where students feel confident experimenting with grammar in a fun, low-pressure setting. The class is designed to keep students engaged by using games, teamwork, and quick feedback to encourage learning.

My approach is student-centered, where I guide students through grammar concepts while allowing them the opportunity to lead the conversation and problem-solve as a group.

How Much Will Learners Get to Interact with You?

- Direct Interaction: Throughout the class, I will be providing individual feedback, helping students refine their understanding and correct any errors.

- Group Activities: Students will interact with each other through team challenges, allowing them to practice their grammar skills collaboratively and apply what they’ve learned.

- Real-Time Corrections: After each game, we’ll review student sentences and discuss mistakes, ensuring everyone has a chance to improve.
