Dear Parents and Young Readers, Are you ready to embark on a magical journey through the world of storytelling and imagination? Join us each week for our exciting Book Club Social Club, where we dive into a new featured storybook filled with adventure, laughter, and valuable life lessons. We will spend 30 min reading a discussing a given text. We will focus on comprehension of the text and recalling information. For beginner readers we will focus on decoding and phonic skills. ESL is welcome! What is my teaching style? I like to keep things fun and engaging through asking the students questions and promoting discussion on the topic. I set behavior expectations while making sure students are all respected and spoken to kindly. I want students to feel like they can ask and answer questions without fear of failure or rejection. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, we have 3 new books to read and disccuss in one of these book selections: Book Listings (no particular order): Book Listings (no particular order): If You Give a Moose a Muffin by Laura Numeroff I Want My Hat Back by Jon Klassen Jabari Jump by Gaia Cornwall Chrysanthemum book by Kevin Henkes Our Class is a Family by Shannon Olsen We Don't Eat Our Classmate by Ryan T.
