Learners will explore one of four world wonders in each 45-minute session. They will learn the basic answer to who, what, where, when, why, and how regarding each famous landmark. To make it a fun learning experience, it is structured as an escape room where students solve riddles, answer questions, put things in order, etc in order with interactive, digital material to understand each place and collect letters or numbers to unlock the final puzzle. The engaging, game-like structure helps students learn facts in an interactive way. To check what they learned at the end of class, we will spin a wheel and randomly answer who, what, where, when, why, and how questions about the place being studied. Each escape room is designed to finish within 35-45 minutes, giving extra time for a pre-discussion of what learners already know, tech issues, and a post-learning discussion answering the wheel at the end. This allows students to enroll and unenroll as they like! Depending on the class size, students will work as a whole class or in small groups. There will be a presentation slide show that students will go through to read the adventure, solve the problems, and record their clues. There will be plenty of discussion between students and the teacher. 1st Week of the month- The Taj Mahal 2nd Week of the month- The Colosseum 3rd Week of the month- The Leaning Tower of Pisa 4th Week of the month- The Pyramids of Egypt 5th Week of the month- New Surprise Escape Room! (when there is a 5th week) This will be an unrelated escape room of a random theme, not a repeat of any of those listed above.
Metas de aprendizaje
