Proyectos de edición de video de iMovie: Serie 1 (FLEX)

The iMovie video editor is a powerful tool and can be used to create beautiful, fun, engaging films.  With a little training, even a beginner can make wonderful work using iMovie. This FLEX course offers the beginning editor four projects to sharpen their editing skills in iMovie. 

Learning goals:
-Get them used to the iMovie interface
-Get them familiar with the tools available in the software and the best ways to use them to enhance your story
-Introduce students to different editing strategies

Week 1. Getting started with iMovie: A Mood project
Week 2. Rhythmic editing: A color guided project
Week 3. Multi-track editing and titles: An educational movie project
Week 4: Narration, score, and color correction: A documentary project 

Course interaction: Students cab upload their weekly videos to the Outschool classroom for sharing and discussion.  Instruction in this course is asynchronous, delivered via videos, lectures, and demonstrations. Discussion and participation are encouraged throughout the week.  The weekly format:

Sunday: New week's assignment, resources, and instructional video.
Wednesday: Check in, discussion prompt, and further instruction if needed. 
Friday: Students upload videos to the Outschool classroom.  Viewing and participation is encouraged.

No cameras needed.  Each week we will work through a "project packet" which will include all of the video clips and other resources students will need to complete the project.  All that's needed here is an updated version of iMovie on your device of choice.  I will be demonstrating in iMovie installed on a desktop.  I will also post special tutorials for the iPad version when needed.
