1-2 horas por semana. Students will be required to complete unfinished class assignments for homework. Multiple stories will be read, outlined, and rewritten with stylistic techniques. The final assignment must be typed double spaced Times New Roman #12 font. The amount of time spent writing and rewriting a story will depend on the student. However, I estimate 1-2 hours a week working on a composition. Assignments are to be emailed to the teacher 2 days before the next class by 5pm CST. LATE ASSIGNMENTS WIL NOT BE EVALUATED. **The student may require access to a printer.Evaluación
Assessment of student’s assignments will consist of randomly selecting compositions which will be reviewed by the teacher. The IEW composition checklist and/or six trait assessment for compositions will be utilized to evaluate student selected compositions. Letter grades will be provided for compositions selected for evaluation.Letra de calificación

Students will write various 1-7+ paragraph compositions. Compositions written will be narrative and/or formal. Students will incorporate IEW stylistic techniques (dress ups, sentence openers, and decorations) in all writing assignments. This course will consist of sixteen weeks of lessons and two weeks of study hall. During study hall class students will be given the opportunity to review problem areas with lessons and/or obtain clarification on assignments. Attending study hall class is required.
