For a limited time with permission, I will enthusiastically read the book "I Like Myself" by Karen Beaumont. This is self-esteem building, and reinforcing type of class. We will focus on having a positive mindset. I will ask students what they like about themselves. There are no wrong answers. They can name physical characteristics or mention their strengths. I will also discuss differences, similarities, acceptance, and that everyone has something to contribute. No prior knowledge is required.Just show up with a good attitude.  Participation is encouraged but not required. Students are encouraged to draw a picture after class and post it. This is not a requirement. It is just a fun activity to for them to continue to think about what they learned. If time permits they can start drawing in class. Most of class time will be spent on reading and discussion.
