Hello Survivor! In this fun and informative 1 time class I will teach your student how to stay safe and alive if ever lost in the wilderness. In my professional experience, I cannot stress enough how important it is for every single child to take a class like this. My goal is to teach the student the exact thing one must do in your first 72 hours to be able to survive. It can be very scary, and extremely dangerous for anyone to be lost in the wilderness alone, but a child with little to no survival knowledge has an extremely low probability of survival. That's why this class is so important. From just spending an hour in this one time class your student will learn the most important things to do in a wilderness survival emergency, and what it required, to stay alive, until getting rescued. In this class we will discuss: - The survival mindset, staying calm/staying positive. - Building shelter and discussing why they are so important - Constructing a fire utilizing different methods and materials - Finding fresh water and treating it for consumption ( because you can only live 3 days max without it ) - Emergency signaling methods - Basic tools and equipment one should have with them when going outdoors. With the knowledge the student gains from this class, they theoretically should be able to survive up to 30 days. *Unless there is an emergency I do not mind teaching a class with only 1 student in it. So there is no need to worry about me canceling for that reason. Tags: Survival Survive Surviving Bushcraft Safety Child Safety Prepping Prepper Disasters Doomsday

Orientación para padres
I do talk about proper survival tools such as knives, and fire starters.
I do strictly emphasize the importance of having adult supervision if ever practicing making a shelter, building a fire and treating water.
For the most part though this class is not at all scary, I have never had a parent or student complain about feeling anxious or scared after the class.
