En esta clase única, nos divertiremos leyendo una historia tonta del Día de la Madre y armando una manualidad divertida que puedes regalarle a tu mamá, tía o abuela para el Día de la Madre.

In this one time class, we will be reading the story "How to Raise a Mom" by Jean Reagan. This silly story is packed with tips on how to have fun with your mom and make her feel loved on Mother's Day!  

We will decorate an easy Mother's Day craft that you can give to your special mom on her special day!  This craft can be made for your aunt, your Grandma, or anyone you want to tell them how much you care about them!  This can be completed during or after class, so don't worry about the time limits or if your child needs extra help with cutting and gluing. 

Other optional printable options will include a Mother's Day card as well as coloring pages, so your little one will be plenty busy getting creative long after class! 

Roses are Red, Violets are Blue, Kisses and Hugs, Mom I love you!

Fine Motor Skills: Students enhance their hand-eye coordination and build levels of manual dexterity through cutting and coloring.
Basic Math Skills: Identifying shapes & colors of objects
Following Directions: Children learn to follow directions and step-by-step instruction when completing crafts
Creativity: Although there can be directions, crafts also leave plenty of room for creativity and help to develop this skill
