I will view every student’s completed work each week (their submitted photo and video) and provide comments and feedback for each drawing. While there will be no formal grades for this class, I will be communicating to each student about their work each week, to help them stay connected, and to help them learn.Calificación

This class is the Flex version of Drawing Mario Bros Characters: Set 2! Sets can be completed in any order. Set 2 is 5 weeks and teaches these drawings: Week 1: Blooper Week 2: Cheep Cheep Week 3: Koopa Troopa Week 4: Lakitu Week 5: Spiny I will teach young artists how to identify shapes and lines in Super Mario Bros characters, and create a drawing by following along, as I guide the process step-by-step in my video instruction. With the Flex option, students may pause the video when needed, and take the time they need to complete their drawing. Students can use a pencil or black marker, or any other writing utensil. After drawing the figure, students may color them in, and can use any coloring utensil they prefer! Crayons, colored pencils, markers, paint, pastels, the sky is the limit! Learners are encouraged to make their drawing their own by adding extra scenery or details if they wish. Students are asked to post their final drawing each week for feedback, to create a video of themselves sharing details about their artwork if they'd like!

I am most passionate about teaching art and learning in unique ways. My approach to teaching infuses encouragement and optimism while having fun and connecting with a new generation over shared interests. Every child is special and celebrated for being who they are! No matter the class, I believe in positively approaching learning and finding joy in it.
• Outside of Outschool, I founded a nonprofit youth performing arts academy in 2015.
