In this eight week mini semester course your child will learn the fundamentals and basics of beginner's Spanish. We will cover all topics that are generally taught in an elementary or middle school Spanish classroom. I will use props, and educational games to keep your child engaged and ensure they are having fun while learning with me. No previous Spanish knowledge is required, however students with prior Spanish exposure are certainly welcome.There are no materials needed for this class. Students will be sent a weekly homework worksheet to assess their progress throughout the course. Topics that will be covered throughout the course are:

Week 1- Counting to fifty. 
Week 2- Colors and days of the week.
Week 3- Months of the year and seasons.
Week 4- Zoo and marine animals.
Week 5- Verb conjugation and sentence structure
Week 6- Conversaciones- Students will be having conversations with one another. Asking each other questions and answering one another in complete sentences. 
Week 7 - Common Nouns- Students will be incorporating this new vocabulary into conversations. 
Week 8 - We will review all of the semester's work and each student will be given an oral assessment of their knowledge and retention throughout the semester.
