Please see our other similar Japanese classes offered for older students. The Japanese language has become extremely popular due to anime (Japanese animation), J-pop and J-dramas! This 1-time 30-minute easy-going class is aimed at students who are interested in starting their Japanese language journey. Discover Japan through its language! [WINTER AND SPRING ANIME == **POKEMON**] In this class, students will be introduced to animals, nature places, and elements vocabulary in Japanese with the use of Pokemon! Common sentences and grammar in Japanese will be used for students to create a Pokemon card in Japanese. Students are expected to verbally participate in the class activities and games. Cameras and Microphones are requested to be ON. In this class, all Japanese is accompanied with Rōmaji (Roman alphabet) or pictures for easy reading and following along. No prior Japanese language learning is required. - However, it is recommended that students know what Japanese Katakana looks like. Teacher Lynn (リン 先生) completed her Master’s degree in Oita, Japan. She was a teaching assistant for Japanese middle school, high school, and university in-person classes in Japan. She has been living in Japan for 6 years (since 2017). Teacher Lynn not only intensely studied the Japanese language, but fell in love with Japanese culture and discovered the passion for sharing such a beautiful language with students.
