History Herald: Individual One-On-One Tutoring for Historians in Training Ongoing (Weekly)

In this class, your child will work one-on-one with Teacher Courtney to help work through history and social studies with an individualized plan for comprehension and success! 

This class is a private tutoring session with Teacher Courtney. All class are created based upon the areas that need improvement or of interest in combination with the students abilities and levels. Any area, theme, or issue in history can be chosen. 

Parents/Guardians will need to contact teacher prior to class to discuss what subjects and goals are wanting to be achieved. 

Possible areas of tutoring:
- Specific Events  (i.e. WWI, the Great Migration, the Spanish Inquisition)
- Specific People (i.e. Elizabeth I, Benjamin Franklin, Sitting Bull)
- Specific Places (i.e. Great Wall of China, The Silk Road, Egypt)
- Themes (i.e. Migration/Immigration, Genocide, Civil War)
- Historical Tools (i.e. Source Analysis, Bias, Historical Questioning)
- Historical Writing & Research
- Full Year Curriculums (U.S. History, World History, European History)

If your child is having trouble in history, social studies, government, or political science, there is no better way to help improve their understanding then through one-on-one support. All lessons will be tailored made so any combination of presentation, activities, individual assignments, and collaboration may be used to create the perfect lesson for your child. Since each lesson is created for your child, prior knowledge is not needed. The level of the class will be adjusted based upon student's level and abilities. 


Pricing for the 2023-2024 School Year is as follows:
30 Minutes - 45.00
45 minutes- 60.00
60 minutes - 75.00

Refund Policy: If your student is unable to make it to the scheduled weekly session, a 24-hour notice is required to cancel the session with a full refund. If you are wanting to have a makeup session instead, please reach out for possible times that are available. Please note that there is not guarantee that a makeup class can be accommodated as private sessions are in high demand and will only be an option if there is an open slot available.
