En este campamento de baile de 2 días para principiantes, presentaré movimientos básicos de hip-hop y jazz. ¡Haremos calentamiento, estiramientos y aprenderemos una rutina alegre y divertida con nuestras muñecas! Durante la clase, también hablaremos sobre nuestras muñecas y haremos una manualidad para ellas. ¡Prepárate para divertirte en esta clase de baile de hip hop y jazz!

During this class we start off with a warm-up and stretch our bodies for about 8 minutes along with our doll. We will then learn choreography to an upbeat dance routine! (25 -30 minutes) During class we will have a couple breaks that include about 5 minutes to chat about our dolls and we will make a craft for our doll at the end of class for about 5-10 minutes! When we are crafting and exercising we are also interacting with our dolls! You can bring one or all your American Girl Dolls or you can bring any stuffy you would like! Day 1: We will warm-up, stretch, do a few hip-hop tricks with our dolls, dancing to American Girl music. At the end of class we will be making a cereal box for our doll! Day 2: We will warm-up, stretch, do a few hip-hop tricks with our dolls dancing to 80's Themed music/Courtney. At the end of class we will be making a rocket or microphone during class for you and you and your doll! *Duration of warm-up, choreography, game, may vary do to student participation. Length of routine may vary depending on ability of majority to pick up choreography. *All music is age appropriate and goes with our theme. *Choreography learned will be of my own creation. *Great option for those that homeschool looking for arts or P.E. option or looking for extracurricular activity for after school or weekends!

Your child will learn basic movements of hip hop and movement. This song is upbeat and fun. The goal of this class is to get the student excited about dance, move around and exercise, learn something new and learn a full routine by the end of the class!

Make sure your child is taking class in a safe space in a clear area where they can extend their arms out side to side and front and back. Also, make sure your child has water nearby and wears comfortable clothing. (Dance at your own risk.)

Both days, bring your American Girl Doll or any doll to class to dance with! Day 1: During the end of class we will make a cereal box for our doll. Here is a link to to print out and bring to class. If you are unable to print you can bring a blank piece of paper to make your own. https://www.americangirlideas.com/american-girl-doll-breakfast-cereal-diy/ Day 2: During the end of class class we will making a microphone or rocket for you and your doll. For either craft you will need a toilet paper roll, foil, tape, and 1 post-it-note or small piece of paper for your dolls microphone or rocket. Scissors, and colored paper and any other decorations you can bring as well!
