Sharing Travel Experiences
Learning Objectives: -Students will learn to use vocabulary related to various vacation activities, such as visiting landmarks, exploring cities, and engaging in leisure activities. -They will be able to create detailed descriptions of their trips, including the places they visited, the activities they participated in, and the experiences they had. -Practice structuring sentences to narrate a sequence of events during their vacations.

Staying Healthy
Learning Objectives: Students will learn vocabulary related to sports and health. Students will be able to discuss sports and health activities. Students will be introduced to and practice using reflexive verbs. Students will understand and use expressions related to staying healthy and engaging in sports. Learning Objectives: Students will learn vocabulary related to clothes and shopping. Students will be able to talk about clothes and shopping using the present tense of irregular yo verbs. They will practice using pronouns after prepositions in the context of shopping. Students will understand and use expressions related to trying on clothes and making purchases. Market Adventures

  • Learning Goal 1: Proficiency in Describing Events Students will accurately describe past, present, and future events using appropriate tenses (preterit, imperfect, present progressive, future) and related vocabulary.
  • Learning Goal 2: Practical Conversations Students will engage in practical conversations using key grammar structures, including direct/indirect object pronouns, reflexive verbs, commands, and the subjunctive mood.
  • Learning Goal 3: Cultural Awareness and Thematic Vocabulary Students will expand their cultural awareness and vocabulary through thematic units, exploring topics such as sports, food, filmmaking, journalism, and environmental conservation.
Am a Bilingual EC-6 and Spanish EC-12 Certified Educator. I hold a masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction and have been teaching students from across the country online for the last 11 plus years. I have extensive experience building Spanish curriculum for levels 1, 2, 3 and AP. Am a native Spanish speaker.
