Orientación para padres
It should be noted that 'Of Mice and Men' contains certain actions and references that some families may find inappropriate for their learner. I'd like to briefly note potentially objectionable content so that parents can make an informed decision about the fitness of this class for their student. The novel does contain references to violence, smoking and drinking, potentially objectionable language, and sexual motive of the female character. Sensitive topics are always treated with objectivity and with reference to historical context. Please contact me directly if you have concerns or questions regarding the content of this class or visit (https://www.commonsensemedia.org/book-reviews/of-mice-and-men) for parent reviews and comments about the novel. Students will not need access to YouTube. When/if a video clip is used in class it will be done via screenshare. Video clips are used occasionally in order to provide background information and/or illustrate key points visually.
