Final Exam Review
  • Develop a strong understanding of basic geometric concepts such as points, lines, angles, and shapes.
  • Learn how to apply geometric concepts to real-world problems, such as calculating the area of a room or the volume of a solid object.
  • Develop proficiency in using geometric tools such as a compass, protractor, and ruler.
  • Understand the relationships between different geometric shapes and how to use those relationships to solve problems, such as finding missing angles or sides.
  • Learn how to use deductive reasoning and logical thinking to prove geometric theorems and solve geometric problems.
  • Develop spatial reasoning skills, such as the ability to visualize and manipulate objects in three-dimensional space.
  • Develop critical thinking skills by analyzing and evaluating geometric arguments and solutions.
  • Strengthen problem-solving skills by applying geometric concepts to a variety of problems, including those that require creativity and innovation.
  • Increase confidence in math skills by mastering the concepts and applications of geometry.
  • Prepare for success in future math courses and college-level math courses by building a strong foundation in geometry.
I have a master’s degree in mathematics and a bachelor’s degree in education. I also have 17 years of teaching and tutoring experience.

Detalles: At the end of each unit, a unit test will be posted on Outschool to assess students' mastery of the unit's concepts. Additionally, at the end of the course, an accumulated final exam will be posted on Outschool to evaluate students' comprehensive understanding of Algebra 2 topics covered throughout the entire course. These assessments are designed to measure student progress and ensure readiness for advanced mathematical studies.
Certificado de finalización
Frecuencia: incluido
Detalles: To receive a completion certificate, students must attend classes regularly, complete all homework assignments, participate in unit tests at the end of each unit, and successfully complete the final cumulative exam at the end of the course. These requirements ensure that students have engaged fully with the material and demonstrate proficiency in Algebra 2 concepts.
For high school geometry, learners should have completed Algebra 1 and possess proficiency in arithmetic and basic geometric concepts. Strong problem-solving skills and familiarity with algebraic manipulation are also essential.
Students will need a notebook or paper for taking notes, a pencil or pen for completing assignments, and a TI-83 or TI-84 calculator for mathematical computations. Additionally, access to a printer will be necessary for printing out some notes or assignments, or students can opt for digital access to receive class notes and assignments electronically. These tools will support students in engaging effectively with the course materials and completing their tasks efficiently.
I will share my screen during lessons so students will not be required to log in to any other websites.
