I have a degree in English as well as many years of experience teaching high school English. I have extensive specialized training in Curriculum and Instruction. I have written the English curriculum for three public high schools and one private school. My students consistently perform above the 90th percentile on state and national standardized tests.

This may include online quizzes and tests, workbook activities, projects, and pre-recorded classes. Frecuencia: incluidoDetalles: Students will be assessed via quizzes, tests, and essays on Google Forms. There will be some video submissions requested for projects and introductions. We will use FlipGrid for video submissions.
All texts and worksheets will be administered during class. Students are highly encouraged to have a reliable printer or have skills annotating a .pdf digitally.

We will be reading novels and poetry that contain dark and sometimes violent themes. Students may excuse themselves from class if at any time they feel uncomfortable with the nature of the material.
