Hi, are you looking for a one-one-one and comprehensive high school Chemistry class for your 14 to 18 years old? If yes, consider enrolling into this class. In this class students will learn the following topics as listed below. The scheduling is flexible you can choose to do once a week, twice a week or 3 times a week, I recommend 3 times per week class if you will like to finish within the time frame listed below. Also students can choose to take this class in parts, pat 1: week 1 to 7, part 2 : week 8 to 14 and part 3: week 15 to 21.

Week 1: Day 1: What is Chemistry and Chemistry as a science?
              Day 2: What is Matter (physical and chemical properties of matter, states of 
                         matter, and changes of state)  
              Day 3: Classification of Matter (pure substances, mixtures, and separation 
                          techniques)

Week 2: Day 1: Atomic Theories 
               Day 2: Atomic structure and Isotopes (protons, neutrons, electrons and average 
                           atomic mass)       
               Day 3: Periodic Table and Trends

Week 3: Day 1: Measurements in Chemistry (Precision, Accuracy, SI units, unit 
                          conversions) 
               Day 2: Dimensional Analysis and Density calculations
               Day 3: Scientific Notation, Significant Figures 


Week 4: Day 1: Chemical Bonding and Types of Bonds
               Day 2: Lewis Structures and VSEPR Theory
               Day 3: Polarity 

Week 5: Day 1: Intermolecular Forces 
               Day 2: Hybridization, Sigma and Pi Bonds
               Day 3: Resonance Structures 

Week 6: Day 1: Quantities in Chemistry (Mole, Mass and Molar mass)
               Day 2: Avogadro's Number and Percent Composition 
               Day 3: Empirical Formula 

Week 7: Day 1: Combustion Analysis
               Day 2: Stoichiometry 
               Day 3: Limiting and Excess Reactant, Percent yield

Week 8: Day 1: Chemical Formulas (Writing and Naming Ionic Compounds, hydrates)
               Day 2: Writing and Naming Molecular compounds  
               Day 3: Writing and Naming Acids


Week 9:  Day 1: Chemical Reactions and Types of Chemical Reactions
                Day 2: Writing and Balancing chemical reactions 
                Day 3: Ionic and Net Ionic Equations


Week 10:  Day 1: Gas Laws explained using virtual lab (Boyles, Charles, Gay Lussac's, 
                             Avogadro's, Combined and Ideal gas laws)
                  Day 2: Gas law Calculations 
                  Day 3: Dalton's Law of Partial Pressure and Graham's law
                  
Week 11:   Day 1: Solutions and Solubility
                  Day 2: Molarity
                  Day 3: Solubility Constant Equation

Week 12:  Day 1: Quantum numbers
                 Day 2: Electronic configuration 
                 Day 3: Exceptions and Spin Electronic Configuration
 
Week 13:  Day 1: Nuclear Chemistry (Nuclear reactions and Radiations)
                 Day 2: Types of Radiations
                 Day 3: Nuclear Fission and Fusion

Week 14: Day 1: Organic Chemistry 1 (Introduction, Hydrocarbons, Functional groups)
                 Day 2: Isomerism 
                 Day 3: Introduction to Nomenclature (Hydrocarbons)

Week 15: Day 1: Nomenclature and Writing Organic compounds)
                 Day 2: Types of Organic reactions 
                 Day 3: Writing Organic reactions

Week 16: Day 1: Thermochemistry (Exothermic and Endothermic Reactions, Energy

                  Day 2: Introduction to rate law, reaction order and half Life 
                  Day 3: Elementary reactions, Reaction energy profile and Catalysis

Week 20: Day 1: Redox reactions and finding oxidation states of elements in a compound
                 Day 2: Balancing redox reactions
                 Day 3: Reduction Potential table, Spontaneity, E cell calculation Galvanic and 
                             Electrolytic cells

Week 21: Day 1: Entropy, Enthalpy and Gibbs Free energy 
                 Day 2:  Thermodynamic and Kinetic Control
                 Day 3: Electrolysis and Faraday's Law


Each week topics will be explained in a simple way and practical examples will be used, to help students understand better, where applicable. This class will be interactive and students will be able to demonstrate understanding by participating in the review questions given, towards the end of the class. We need a total of 63 sessions to complete the whole course, you can choose how many times you or your learner wants to attend class per week.
