These large beautiful flower comes in many colors and grows in warmer climates. It is also very popular in the state of Hawaii. 
What is it you ask? Hibiscus, of course!
Learn how to paint Hibiscus flowers and tropical leaves with acrylic paints in this one-time class.
Perfect for the beginner painter! Teacher will paint along and show every step! I use two cameras, with one showing my hands/painting.
Create your own spring masterpiece.
We will start with a simple sketch. Please make sure you have a pencil.
We will choose a color for the background and start with painting an outline.
We will use white, black, pink, purple and yellow paints to create beautiful flowers.
We will use light green and dark green to create tropical leaves around the Hibiscus flowers.
Little artists will have an opportunity to show their paintings to fellow artists at the end of the class.
Colors we will definitely need: black, white, pink, red, purple, yellow, light green and dark green. Having more colors on hand is great!
**Depending on the number of students and their skill level, this class might end a few minutes early or run 5-20 minutes extra.**

-Pencil and Eraser (We will start with a sketch)
-Cup with water and paper towel or a piece of cloth for cleaning brushes
- canvas, canvas board or mixed media paper of any size. However, keep in mind the ability of your artist. Younger children might have a difficult time covering a large surface.
-Acrylic paints: Colors we will definitely need: black, white, purple, pink, red, yellow, light green and dark green. Having more colors is great! 
-A palette - any dish we could use for mixing colors
-Various brushes: Large flat brush, medium flat brush and small detail brush
