In this ongoing book club, students will have the opportunity to discuss the popular Harry Potter books written by J.K Rowling in a fun and engaging way while earning points for their house of choice. Points earned will be tallied the last week of the month. The winning house will receive a certificate.

Have you or your child read all of the Harry Potter books, or started reading the series and can't stop, watched all of the movies, wished you'd received a letter from Hogwarts, been sorted in on an online quiz, have Harry Potter merchandise, read or written fan-based fiction, or know the term Potterhead? If so, this is the club for you. 

I will begin each week's class by allowing each student to have a moment to share anything they would like regarding Harry Potter. It could be a new book they read, a shirt they just bought, a toy, anything their heart desires. Once every student has had the time to share, we will spend the next part of the class discussing the Harry Potter series while completing an activity that any Harry Potter fan will love. We will complete crafts, artwork, play games, etc.

Students will also have the opportunity to earn points outside of class by completing different activities and challenges and then sharing their work at the beginning of the following week's class. 

The goal of this club is to have fun, discuss Harry potter and socialize with Harry Potter fans while testing your knowledge.

This class does not build upon previous classes. As long as you are a Harry Potter fan you can jump in class at any time. 

Each week's topics will be as follows:
Week 1: Jeopardy
              
Week 2: Artwork
              
Week 3: Craft
