In this one-time class, students will have a blast making a Halloween No-Bake Snack Mix. It is absolutely delicious and will become a snack favorite. This is a hands-on interactive class that will allow students to be independent in the kitchen while having fun. Students will gain confidence in the kitchen by learning to measure ingredients, use the microwave, and mix their ingredients together independently. They will see how fun and rewarding it is to share their personally made snack with their friends and family to enjoy. Ingredients needed: 1 box Chex Cereal (Rice or Corn) 1 box Plain Cheerios 1 bag small size Pretzels (small sticks or small traditional shape) 1 bag Ghirardelli White Chocolate Melting Wafers or a Vanilla Microwavable White Candy Coating 1 bag Halloween M&M's Halloween Sprinkles Candy Eyes (*optional) Medium Microwave Safe Bowl Large Mixing Bowl 1 cup measuring cup 1 spatula Rimmed Baking Sheet Parchment Paper Microwave Oven Mitt

The student will need to have access to a microwave and to understand that objects coming out of the microwave will be warm/hot. Please advise ahead of time. Please have a potholder handy to get the bowl out of the microwave. Parents may help if needed.
