This one-time, interactive class will explore more than 15 jobs and careers for individuals who love Halloween! This class will be a fun way for students to examine what they want to be when they grow up! 

This class will help learners see a world full of possibilities. Whether they love costumes, candy or spooky stuff, their interests can be turned into a fulfilling careers in the future! From costume designers, to confectioners, to osteologists, there are many possibilities!

I will give a brief overview of more than 15 jobs, discussing a variety of topics related to each job, including job responsibilities, education requirements, and earnings potential. Learners will have the opportunity to interact throughout the class. There will be a one-page printable that will help learners examine their own interests as we discuss the jobs during class.  We will discuss accessing our own skills, interests, and qualities, to help answer the age-old question "What should I be when I grow up?" Of course, there will also be time for students to discuss there favorite things about Halloween!

Class will be taught by a former professional Halloween candy buyer! As a former buyer, I helped determine the candy that was available in more than 4,000 retail stores throughout the United States. I'm excited to explore your student's love of Halloween and help build excitement for future possibilities.

A one-page printable file will be provided, but learners can choose to use a paper and pen or pencil instead. Colored pens or pencils are also suggested, but not required.
