This course is at the Intermediate to Advanced Level of Spanish; as a pre-requisite, students should know how to conjugate in the Present Tense, the use of definite and indefinite articles (el, la, los, las), placement of adjectives as well as noun-adjective agreement, and some general vocabulary. 

We will cover how to speak about the past using two tenses: Preterite and Imperfect; this includes conjugating regular and irregular verbs in both tenses, when and how to use each one, and the difference between both. The lessons will also include vocabulary regarding outdoor activities, hobbies, and sports, which will be presented using Quizlet sets, as well as PDF files. 

Every lesson will have a short lecture using slides, followed by online interactive activities and games to help students learn and practice. Participation is encouraged, as this will help with developing the abilities to speak and understand Spanish. We will also practice writing, for which I use Nearpod.com interactive slides that allow students to write and type on their end.
