In this class, we will discuss gratitude as a life skill and how to make it a part of your daily routine. We will use a different writing or drawing exercise each week to create a gratitude journal that students can then use daily if desired. Class time will be spent introducing the weekly prompt, sharing ideas, creating a gratitude journal entry and practicing a short meditation. Prompts may include creating a gratitude alphabet, making a gratitude rainbow, using a gratitude compass, etc. No previous experience is needed. Learners are encouraged to use the prompt in a way that works for them as an individual.

Learners will need writing materials. A simple pencil and paper will work. Learners are encouraged to bring any additional art supplies that they enjoy using.

Yoga and meditation give us tools to help manage stress and to calm our minds. It also helps to stretch and strengthen our bodies.
